We offer information, support and guidance about mental health issues over the telephone, via text or email. We want to take time to listen to you and to understand your situation.

We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone.

We offer a broad range of information for people experiencing mental health problems and for friends, family and carers. This includes;

  • What support and services are available to you locally
  • Understanding the different mental health diagnosis
  • Information about medication and other treatments
  • What to do in a crisis, or when you just don't know where to turn

We also offer information for carers, family and friends of people experiencing mental health problems. Sometimes a little more knowledge and understanding can go a long way in helping you give support to a person you care for.

A wide range of information is available on the MindLine Cumbria website.

MindLine Cumbria is open midday - 9pm monday - friday, and 5pm - 9pm Saturday.

  • Thanks for signposting me to the Law Centre. They are now on top of my benefits issues and it's a massive weight off my shoulders.
