Random Acts of Kindness - Look out for our Golden Tickets across Eden now

Posted Tuesday, 14 May 2019, 12.44pm

As part our fantastic Share a Smile (SAS) project we have this week launched our Golden Tickets Treasure Hunt.

This is a Treasure Hunt like no other.

Across Eden our SAS team of young people have been hiding Golden Tickets which when found will give the lucky finder an opportunity to carry out a suggested Random Act of Kindness or may mean that the finder is the recipient of a Random Act of Kindness.

What is this about?

Well all the research shows that the benefits of helping others can last long after the act itself by providing a 'kindness bank' of memories that can be drawn upon in the future.

Acts of kindness have the potential to make the world a happier place. Also they can also encourage others to repeat the good deed that they've experienced themselves - it contributes to a more positive community.

So if you find a Golden Ticket please act on it. We know it will make the recipient feel better and it will also make you feel good too!

Good Luck in the hunting and if you want more details please see file below on Golden Tickets Explained.

Thank you

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped by donating to our Random Acts of Kindness. Organisations, businesses across the whole of Eden have supported us and you can find their details below. We couldn't have done it without them.

Share a Smile

Our Random Acts of Kindness week is part of a bigger project by Share a Smile. We aim to make a positive change to the emotional wellbeing and mental health of the Eden community. Share a Smiles work has already made a difference to many young people lives. Thank you.

Lynsey & the SAS team :)
