Just 8 days to go until R.E.D January!

The countdown to R.E.D January is officially on with just 8 days to go! There’s still plenty of time to get your friends and family signed up!

Say hello to your fellow REDers via the R.E.D community on Facebook. It's full of lots of support and motivation!

Read on for some simple festive fundraising ideas and all you need to get ready for R.E.D

Fundraising

With the whole of January still to come, team R.E.D for CEMind have already raised £549.50 via JustGiving and the challenge hasn’t even started yet!

This money alone will help support Carlisle Eden Mind's vital work. £10 helps us train one teenager in mental health awareness and how to support their friends.

Thank you for not only choosing to make a difference to your lives by signing up to R.E.D, but others too via your fundraising efforts. If you haven’t already, join the campaign on JustGiving here just click ‘start fundraising’ and you’ll be able to create a fundraising page linked to Carlisle Eden Mind and R.E.D January.

We appreciate that fundraising can sometimes feel a little daunting. To help support you, there's a R.E.D fundraising pack with lots of fun tips, along with some printable materials. Read on for more ideas.

Festive fundraising ideas

Christmas and New Year mark a great time to generate some extra sponsorship - especially when you're doing something as special as 31 days of exercise!

Whether you're popping a few coins in a jar for every run/activity you do, holding a bake sale or putting on a raffle or a quiz night - it all counts and we're here to support you. Just give us a shout if you need advice!

We’re rewarding your fundraising efforts with a medal this year. I’ve seen the design and they're fantastic!

You've been sharing fundraising ideas and tips and Facebook, thank you for this. We encourage you to keeping sharing your tried and tested ideas, top tips and successes with the team on the R.E.D January Facebook group.

Your R.E.D January

Whether your focus during R.E.D January is to work up to a 5k, walk around the block, enjoy regular morning swims, 10k a day, yoga in your front room, rack up 100 miles during the month or step outside your front door each day. There's no rules. The aim is to get active each day to help boost your physical and mental health.
We're excited to see where this challenge takes you!

We will running two new Yoga classes in line with R.E.D January for Carlisle Eden Mind
