From snow to sunshine...

Marathon runner and serial CEMind fundraiser, Jon Lewthwaite, sends us an update from warmer climes...

Training is going well but still mainly indoors - I'm getting about 30k a week in on the treadmill so should have a good cardio base ready for the hard work to come...

I'm planning on starting my 18 week purely marathon training plan when I am back in the country from my much needed holiday!! I'm in Lanzarote for 2 weeks and am half tempted to gate crash the half marathon here, or even the 10k. My dad lives out here so I decided to find out how hot it would be before committing. I have, however, brought my trainers so could get some "warm weather training" in!

I'll start easing myself into road running when I'm back...I'll let you know how I get on!
